"Andy" currently serves as the Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Starkville, Mississippi. Andy is married to Katie, and they have three children: Adalee, Titus, and Ezra.

Andy has degrees from Truett-McConnell University (AA, 2005), Kennesaw State (BS, 2008), Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv, 2012; ThM, 2016), and completed his doctorate at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (DMin, 2020).

Andy is passionate about proclaiming Christ and seeing the power of God through the Gospel, producing passionate disciples of Jesus Christ who are ready to go and make disciples of all nations. He hopes this website will help achieve those ends.

Andy has been in ministry since the age of 15 and was ordained in 2009 at First Baptist Atlanta under the charge of Dr. Charles Stanley. Andy was awarded the Sarchet Award in Biblical Preaching upon the completion of his MDiv at Southeastern.

In 2020, Andy launched a regular podcast that carries his preaching ministry called Hearing is Believing.

Upon arriving at First Baptist Starkville (2021), Andy launched The Starkville Institute, which aims at theological discipleship in the church and is designed to both equip the saints and prepare those pursuing vocational ministry.

In February of 2024, after nearly a decade of conversation, he and his close friend Stephen Lorance launched The Emmaus Way, which presents a vision for encountering the risen Lord through the inspired Word.
